I want to create true attention! – Is it any wonder? That in this informational wasteland; on this constantly growing pile of new socio-technological communicational bombing, so many people among us are feeling empty, confused and dissatisfied? My answer would be “No”. It’s not at all peculiar. The perpetually increasing exhaustion of extremely streamlined communication is slowly suffocating us. Finally resulting in a severe “poverty of attention” I fear. A real threat and a depressing thought!

Then THINK different. Have a cause and a cure. Suggestion: Imagine the kick, the rushing thrill of going down a Swiss highway. Fast. You’re going in a designer’s proud perfection, the Aston Martin convertible. Black. Top is off, wind in your hair and you smell spring in the air. When approaching the breathtaking lake of Lucerne it strikes you: It’s a fabulous view. Blue. On the most exquisite stereo a Beatles song is playing “We’re starting a revolution where ever we go”. Loud. Fantasize just having brought a little successful “design revolution” to life at this moment. Think of the content smile on the face and imagine the state of mind: Satisfaction! – That’s a goal.

On the opposite side of “poverty of attention” the “richness of possibilities” resides. That’s where I want to be. Luckily the connected world of today offers the radically unique gift of a technical development that for the first time in history is based on what we really want to do – with and to each other. That’s my ACT: With art and design great social awareness can be created. It’s a good cause; the merger of art, technology and ethical business can bring small but great ideas to life. It is a promising revolution which facilitates the possibilities to walk the walk and talk the talk with potential attention all over the world. On such excursions it’s much better to understand the territory than to read the map.

Get paid to travel the world. Design a website for an origami artist. Redesign the wayfinding system for orchard road in Singapore. Make an infographics about overpopulation.
