health me

Our small home town Baden has over 50 sports communities without a single healthy lunch take-away. In the beginning of 2017 Johanna Almér Dragic was a fitness trainer and head of the weight management programme and at a well-known training center, while studying economics. I was studying at the multimedia academy while working for a web agency. With combined forces we created an innovative start-up idea called “health me” which focused on sustainability and transparency. To prevent food waste, athletes had to order the day before, so the farmer next door would bring exactly the correct amount of Swiss vegetables. From an ecological point of view, we only offered protein-rich, vegan menus which revived centuries-old tradition of consuming edible wild plants like stinging nettle. The orders were delivered by muscle power in all weather conditions to pick-up stations at sports center and offices. In addition, we reduced waste by collecting, cleaning and reusing our glass containers.
